Colt SAA revolver, .44/40 caliber, 5.5” barrel, nickel finish, checkered hard rubber grips, S/N 169145; overall good to very good condition showing majority of its unpolished nickel finish with area of old pitting around one cylinder flute, good bore, crisp action, sharp markings and very good grips; hammer screw replaced, otherwise in as found and untouched condition. Accompanied by a Colt factory letter confirming all features and shipped to John P. Lovell Arms Co., Boston, Mass. on April 1, 1897, one gun in shipment. (Antique). Est.: $2,000-$4,000.
